At the age of five, she already knew you had to pause in the stop bath before proceeding to the fixer. 

Knowing her way around a darkroom was just one of Sarit’s early interests:  singing, reading and writing poetry all surfaced at this time.  Over the next thirty years she continues to fine-tune her early-found talents. 

Sarit utilizes music as a viable communication tool in order to explore her subject’s layers and convey them through the final image.  Her multi-faceted skill set enables her to shoot a wide array of subjects, environments, genres and styles. 

In 2004 Sarit entered Santa Monica City College’s photography program, where she has gained the technical expertise to back-up her creative vision. 

Finishing her Associative Arts degree next year, Sarit has been working for the past two years as a freelance photographer.
